Job Description
- Schedule patient appointments and tests efficiently and timely.
- Answer all incoming calls, directing them to appropriate personnel.
- Serve as a liaison between patients and medical staff.
- Obtain and enter insurance authorizations and correspondence in patients' charts.
- Collect co-pays and other payments at the time of visit.
- Maintain scheduling templates for physicians and coverage.
- Communicate with patients about surgeries, tests, and pre-operative requirements.
- On-site position, Monday to Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-3 years of surgery scheduling experience preferred.
- Knowledge of medical terminology and coding is a plus.
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment.
