Location: New York, NY – Midtown
Schedule: Mon – Fri, 8:00AM – 5:00PM EST
The Training Coordinator is responsible for providing continuous improvement for, and management of, the company' Tech Academy program. The Tech Academy program has been designed to create a tech learning culture, upskill employees, and plan for the future of technology within our organization. The Tech Academy program has four distinct components: eLearning, virtual instructor-led training, community groups, and a speaker series; this individual will work with the Tech Academy Program Manager and additional team members to assist will all aspects of the program.
Duties that will Support the Tech Academy Program include:
Technical Analysis: through user experience studies and conversations with stakeholders, determine which topics will make significant impact to solve business needs or bridge gaps in expertise
Content Curation & Technical Research: through research, curate topics, skills, and areas of expertise to develop each Tech Academy track
New Vendor Selection: research vendors, meet with sales teams, and represent our company and the Tech Academy program to ensure vendors are knowledgeable about what is expected of them
Vendor Relationship Management: build and maintain relationships with technical vendors who have the topical expertise for each Tech Academy track
Tech Academy Website/Landing Page: help maintain a site for information about all tracks, program details, etc.
Participant Relationship Management: build and maintain relationships with participants of each track; build cohorts for each track and provide space for participants to connect, share ideas, and work together
Calendar & Scheduling Management: build schedules for each track; maintain calendar invites with participant and vendor information
Facilitation and Program Management: facilitate introductory, check-in, and conclusive sessions with participants; act as the facilitator during discussions to prompt deeper learning and foster conversation (not during technical content, but during cohort sessions)
Position Qualifications:
- Strong prior experience in Professional Training/eLearning/Adult Education
- A minimum of a High School Diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field preferred
