A-Line Staffing is now hiring Travel CVICU Registered Nurses (RNs) in Akron, OH. The CVICU RN position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs. This would be full-time / 40+ hours per week, working with a prestigious health system.

CVICU RN Compensation

• The pay for this position is $2,300 per week

• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment

• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

CVICU RN Highlights

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs

• The required availability for this position is 19:00 - 07:30

CVICU RN Responsibilities

• Providing care in a 26-bed cardiac open-heart cardiac thoracic vascular unit

• Managing patient care with a nurse-to-patient ratio usually of 1:1 or 1:2, but can go up to 1:3

• Independently obtaining labs and initiating IVs

• Floating to different units as needed

CVICU RN Requirements

• ACLS/BLS/NIH certification

• 2+ years of RN experience with open-heart cases

• Recent EPIC experience within the last year, must be provided on resume

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing

• CVICU Skills checklist required upon submission

• Only accepting up to 7 days of requested time off (RTO) at the time of submission

• No block schedule requests accepted

• Scrub color: Solid Black

• Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days

CVICU RN Preferred Qualifications

• Additional certifications or specialties in cardiovascular or critical care nursing
