Travel Contract Critical Care RN Compensation
- The pay for this position is $2,800 per week
- Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment
- A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

- This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
- The required availability for this position is nights with rotating weekends
Travel Contract Critical Care RN Responsibilities
- Cath Lab Recovery & Monitoring: Provide post-procedural care for patients recovering from cardiac catheterization, interventional radiology, and other diagnostic procedures.
- Critical Care Nursing: Assess, monitor, and manage critically ill patients in the recovery phase, ensuring appropriate interventions and support.
- Patient Education & Advocacy: Educate patients and families on recovery, post-procedure care, and lifestyle modifications for heart health. Advocate for the patient's needs throughout the recovery process.
- Collaboration with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with cardiologists, radiologists, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare providers to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Emergency Care: Provide advanced cardiac life support and critical care interventions as needed, including monitoring vitals and addressing any complications that arise during recovery.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient care in accordance with hospital policies and regulatory standards.
- Safety & Quality Standards: Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure compliance with hospital policies, including those related to infection control, patient safety, and regulatory requirements.
Travel Contract Critical Care RN Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Current Oregon RN Licensure (unencumbered) required.
- AHA Healthcare Provider BLS certification required.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification required.
- Recent Critical Care Experience: Candidates must have recent experience in Emergency Department (ED), Intensive Care Unit (ICU), or Post-Cardiac Care Unit (PCU) settings.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required, in compliance with College of American Pathologists (CAP) standards for moderate complexity testing.
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
Travel Contract Critical Care RN Preferred Qualifications
- Previous Cath Lab or Cardiac Recovery experience preferred.
- Experience with interventional radiology or cardiac diagnostic procedures a plus.
- Strong ability to work in a fast-paced, high-stress environment, while providing compassionate care.
