Travel RN ICU – Cardiovascular Job Description:
Under general supervision, provides competent nursing care to patients in a cardiovascular ICU setting. Delivers care to individuals with health issues ranging from simple to complex. Coordinates with physicians, support staff, and families to ensure optimal outcomes for patients across all phases of hospitalization.

Travel RN ICU – Cardiovascular Schedule & Location:

• 12-hour shifts

• Day and Night shifts available

• Onsite – Cardiovascular ICU department

•  Oklahoma City OK 73104 United States

• 3-month assignment

Travel RN ICU – Cardiovascular Salary/Wage:
$2,600 – $2,900 per week

Travel RN ICU – Cardiovascular Duties:
• Assumes responsibility for an assigned group of patients
• Documents patient responses to interventions and prescribed treatments
• Assists physicians in examinations and minor procedures
• Monitors physiological data and intervenes as needed
• Administers medications and manages IV infusions and blood products
• Educates patients and families on care plans and discharge instructions
• Refers patients to appropriate support personnel when necessary
• Delegates tasks appropriately to support staff
• Performs other duties as assigned

Non-Negotiable Requirements:
• Active RN License – Oklahoma or compact multistate (eNLC)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) – American Heart Association
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) – American Heart Association
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a Level 1 Trauma Facility
• Previous travel nurse experience required

Preferred Qualifications:
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from a board-approved program
• Strong knowledge of professional nursing theory, practice, and procedures
• Ability to plan, coordinate, and evaluate nursing services
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to respond to cultural and language needs
• Basic computer skills

Travel RN ICU – Cardiovascular Education:
• Required: Associate's Degree in Nursing from an accredited program
• Preferred: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
