Job Description
Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) / Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) – Float (Clinic) | Plantation, FL (Onsite)
A-Line Staffing is hiring an LVN/LPN Float for an onsite, patient-facing clinic role in Plantation, FL (33324 area). This is a full-time contingent/contract opportunity with steady hours and the ability to support multiple nearby clinic locations as needed.
Pay & Schedule
- Pay: $37.17/hr (W2)
- Hours: 32–40 hrs/week (typically ~38)
- Schedule: 4 days/week, 8-hour shifts + every other weekend
- Floating: Required to nearby locations as needed
What You’ll Do
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based patient care in a fast-paced clinic setting
- Perform patient intake and clinical support (vitals, assessments, documentation)
- Administer treatments/medications per protocol and provider direction
- Collaborate with the care team to support safe, efficient patient flow
- Use EMR systems to document accurately and in real time
Required Experience
This role is best suited for nurses with recent, hands-on clinical experience in:
- Urgent Care
- Emergency/ER
- Primary Care / Outpatient clinic
Required Qualifications
- Active LPN/LVN license in good standing
- BLS certification (must remain valid at least 30+ days beyond start)
- 1+ year related healthcare experience
- Experience with:
- Phlebotomy
- Vaccine administration
- Point-of-care testing
- EMR proficiency (Epic preferred)
Education
- High School Diploma or GED (required)
