Urgent Care LPN Summary and Highlights:

The Urgent Care LPN will provide holistic evidenced-based care inclusive of accurate assessment diagnosis treatment management of health problems health counseling and disposition planning for our patients.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Urgent Care LPN Details and Compensation:

• Location: 100% on site
• Payrate: $33.79/hr
• Required Availability: Days, 7-10 hours per day | 30 hours per week up to a possible 40 hours
• May require floating to other nearby locations
• A typical work week will be two or three weekdays and every other weekend.    
• This position also requires working on some major holidays.  

Urgent Care LPN Responsibilities:

• This includes education and treatment for pregnancy prevention sexually transmitted infection STI Prevention and safer sex practices.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection services
• Administer immunizations and injections to include but not limited to COVID19 influenza TB and provides evidence-based patient/parent vaccine counseling and education. bull Assess patients during intake
• Take vital signs
• Perform diagnostic tests such as EKG Retinopathy screening
• Perform Point of care testing including COVID testing
• Perform patient registration and intake assist with wait room management and other responsibilities to enhance the patient experience.
• Order equipment and prepare the clinic for the best patient experience
• Help meet our mission to help people on their path to better health by providing excellent patient-focused connections and activities

Urgent Care LPN Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Attendance mandatory for first 90 days
• MUST have 1+ year of LPN / LVN in a healthcare setting
• LPN / LVN must have a full, active and unrestricted license
• BLS Certification required
• Prior urgent care experience is a plus, but not required
