Urgent Care LVN/LPN (Clinic) – Castle Hills, TX 78213
A-Line Staffing is hiring an LVN/LPN for a fast-paced, patient-facing clinic role. This is a full-time W2 contract opportunity for nurses who thrive in urgent care / emergency care / primary care environments.
Urgent Care LVN/LPN (Clinic) Pay
- $37.17/hr (W2)
Urgent Care LVN/LPN (Clinic) Schedule
- 75 hours bi-weekly (typically 32–40 hrs/week)
- Three 10-hour shifts + every other weekend
- Shifts typically 7–10 hours during clinic operating hours
- 3 weeks of training/orientation, then schedules are built in 6-week blocks
- Must be able to work some major holidays
- May require floating to nearby clinics as needed
Urgent Care LVN/LPN (Clinic) What You’ll Do
- Deliver high-quality, evidence-based care in an urgent care / primary care clinic setting
- Support patient flow: intake, vitals, rooming, assisting with provider assessments
- Administer treatments/medications per protocol
- Perform phlebotomy, vaccine administration, and point-of-care testing
- Document accurately in an EMR (Epic or similar)
- Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure safe, efficient care delivery
Urgent Care LVN/LPN (Clinic) Required Qualifications (Emphasis on Urgent/Emergency/Primary Care)
- Active LVN/LPN license (in good standing)
- If compact, must be issued in your primary state of residence
- BLS (must be valid through at least 30+ days beyond anticipated start)
- 1+ year related healthcare experience
- Recent, hands-on experience in at least one of the following:
- Urgent Care
- Emergency Department (ER)
- Primary Care / Family Practice
- Experience with:
- Phlebotomy
- Immunizations/vaccines
- Point-of-care testing
- Comfortable with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- High School Diploma or GED
Important Fit Notes
- This role is best for LVNs/LPNs coming from urgent care, ER, or primary care.
- Candidates whose experience is limited to long-term care only (SNF/LTC, home health, LTAC, nursing home) typically struggle in a high-volume clinic setting.
