Job Type: Direct Hire
Location: Dallas, TX 75226 (on-site)
Schedule: Full-time (40 hrs/week)
Target start: September 7, 2026
Salary: $275,000 - $295,000

Overview

A rapidly growing, highly regulated healthcare/pharmaceutical organization is hiring a Vice President of Operations to join the executive leadership team and lead day-to-day operations plus long-term operational strategy. This role will drive excellence across manufacturing, supply chain, distribution, inventory, facilities, and operational planning, while ensuring strong regulatory compliance.

What you’ll do

  • Partner with executive leadership to develop and execute operational strategy, goals, KPIs, and dashboards
  • Lead long-term capacity planning and scaling initiatives
  • Identify and execute efficiency improvements and cost reduction opportunities
  • Oversee regulated manufacturing/production operations to meet quality, safety, and productivity goals
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives and standard operating procedures
  • Lead procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and fulfillment optimization
  • Partner with Quality/Regulatory leaders to maintain inspection readiness; support audits/inspections
  • Hire, develop, mentor, and retain high-performing operational leaders (Directors/Managers)
  • Manage operational budgets and performance against financial objectives

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (Engineering, Pharmaceutical Sciences, Supply Chain, Business, or related)
  • 15+ years progressive operations leadership experience
  • 7+ years leading managers/directors
  • Background in an FDA-regulated environment (pharma, specialty pharmacy, biotech, medical devices, etc.)
  • Strong understanding of cGMP and quality systems
  • Proven success scaling operations in growth-oriented organizations
  • Budget ownership and strong operational performance management

Preferred qualifications

  • MBA and/or advanced scientific degree
  • 503B outsourcing facility experience (or similar)
  • Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (or equivalent)
  • Facility expansions, automation initiatives, and/or startup operations experience
  • Experience preparing organizations for FDA inspections
