Location: Canaan, CT 06018
Pay: $23.00/hour
Shift/Schedule: C Crew | 7:00am-7:00pm (12-hour shift) — alternating schedule:
- Week 1: Mon / Tue / Fri / Sat / Sun
- Week 2: Wed / Fri
(Repeats every two weeks)
Important Assignment Note (Temp Backfill)
- This is a temporary backfill position covering an employee who is currently on leave. The leave may be extended, so the assignment length is uncertain and could last a while based on business needs.
Overview
We’re hiring a Warehouse Operator / Forklift Operator to support warehouse operations in Canaan, CT. In this role, you’ll operate forklifts and assist with moving materials and finished products while following SOPs and quality guidelines in a metrics-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts to move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished products within the facility
- Support material handling, logistics, and general warehouse operations
- Maintain basic records/documentation as needed
- Complete routine tasks following established processes and SOPs
- Work safely and efficiently while meeting quality and productivity expectations
Job Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Forklift operator experience
- Ability to read, write, and understand English and perform basic math
- Comfortable working in a metrics-driven environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
