Warehouse Material Handler | Details and Compensation:

• Location: Four Oaks, NC 27524 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $19/hr
• Required Availability: Monday – Friday, 2:30 PM – 10:30 PM (2nd Shift)

Warehouse Material Handler | Summary and Highlights:

The Warehouse Material Handler will support daily warehouse and material handling operations. This role involves the safe and efficient movement of materials using forklifts and other equipment in a high-volume, physically demanding environment.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• A 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Warehouse Material Handler | Responsibilities:

• Operate forklifts, conveyors, cranes, power trucks, and handcarts to move materials, assemblies, and finished goods.
• Maintain inventory records as needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to quality and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine tasks using basic techniques and processes.
• Operate within a metrics-driven, team-oriented environment.

Warehouse Material Handler | Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.
• 2+ years of warehouse or related experience required.
• 1+ year of forklift operation experience required.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English-language documents and perform basic math.
• General computer skills and the ability to work with warehouse systems.
• Capable of obtaining/maintaining required certifications or licenses.

Physical Requirements:

• Regular activities include walking, standing, kneeling, climbing, lifting (50+ lbs), reaching, pushing, pulling, and repetitive hand/wrist movements.
• Work conditions may involve exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, fumes/airborne particles, and extreme weather (hot in summer, cold in winter).
• Must be comfortable in a moderately loud environment and working at heights on occasion.
