Warehouse Operator | Details and Compensation:

• Location: Sumter, SC 29153 – 100% on-site
• Payrate: $16.79/hr
• Required Availability: D-Shift | 7p-7a | 3-days on, 2-days off, 2-on, 3-off

Warehouse Operator | Summary and Highlights:

The Warehouse Operator will be responsible for handling materials, managing warehouse operations, and ensuring efficiency in product movement.

• This position is a contract assignment with potential to hire on permanently based upon attendance, performance, and business needs
• Benefits are available to full-time employees after 90 days of employment and include health, optical, dental, life, and short-term disability insurance
• 401(k) with a company match is available for full-time employees with 1 year of service on our eligibility dates

Warehouse Operator | Responsibilities:

• Operate various warehouse equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, cranes, handcarts, and power trucks.
• Move materials, parts, assemblies, and finished goods within the facility.
• Maintain accurate records and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Ensure adherence to safety and quality guidelines.
• Perform basic warehouse tasks within defined procedures and processes.
• Work under general to limited supervision.

Warehouse Operator | Requirements:

• Education: High School Diploma or GED (Verifiable).
• 1+ year of warehouse experience
• Must have stand-up lift experience.
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend documents in English.
• Basic math and computer skills.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with co-workers and supervisors.
• Attendance: Commitment to mandatory attendance during the first 90 days.

Work Environment & Physical Demands:

• Ability to lift and move objects over 50 lbs.
• Frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, balancing, climbing, and lifting.
• Repetitive motion involving hands, wrists, and fingers.
• Exposure to extreme temperatures (hot in summer, cold in winter) with limited climate control.
• Work near moving mechanical parts with occasional exposure to high places and airborne particles.
• Moderate to loud noise levels in the work environment.
