X-Ray Technician
Job Description
A-Line Staffing is hiring an X-Ray Technician in the Pompton Plains, NJ 07444 area. This role is a full time 40hrs per week position with the opportunity to work with a Major Hospital!
Location: Pompton Plains, NJ 07444
Pay: $50-$55/hr based on experience
- The position is 13 week contract with potential to extend
Schedule Options: Need 2 X-Ray Techs (1 candidate work shift option 1 and the other will work shift option 2)
- 1st Shift Option: Mon - Thurs 8am-4pm & Sat 7am - 3pm
- 2nd Shift Option: Tues - Fri 3pm - 11am & Sun 7am - 3pm
Job Summary:
- Perform and provide appropriate imaging and treatment processes in accordance with state, federal and professional guidelines
- Maintain all equipment for procedures, assess safety, procedure, physical and physiological comfort of patient Monitor need for procedure revisions, coordinate daily imaging procedure, etc
- Other duties as Assigned
Requirements:
- 3 years’ experience as X-Ray Technician
- Demonstrate knowledge of a variety of imaging equipment including setup, utilization, troubleshooting and proper care of all equipment
- Education: Graduate of Accredited Radiography School
- NJ State RT License ARRT
- BLS Certified
- Current knowledge of trends and advances in clinical practice and healthcare informatics, as well as new developments and innovations in hardware and software technology
