Job Description:
As an X-Ray Technologist, you will be responsible for assisting patients through the imaging process, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and working collaboratively with providers to produce high-quality diagnostic images.
X-Ray Technologist Schedule & Location:
- Full-Time Position
- Location: Bellaire, TX 77401, United States
X-Ray Technologist Salary/Wage:
- Competitive and negotiable pay (Please list desired pay on application/resume.)
X-Ray Technologist Duties:
- Educate patients on imaging procedures in a calm and professional manner.
- Prepare imaging equipment and patient rooms for use.
- Position and monitor patients during exams to ensure proper imaging.
- Submit images to providers for review.
- Administer targeted doses of radiation as needed.
- Troubleshoot imaging equipment when necessary.
- Ensure patient and equipment safety at all times.
X-Ray Technologist Required Qualifications:
- MRT License (Required)
- ARRT Certification (Required)
- Epic EMR experience (Preferred)
X-Ray Technologist Education:
- High School Diploma or GED (Minimum)
- Associate/Technical Degree from an accredited college (Required)
